Athletics: Record-breaking 125 student-athletes named to GNAC Academic All-Conference Team
WINTHROP, Mass. - ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° placed a record-shattering 125 student-athletes on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

The 125 honored student-athletes continues the ascension of honorees per year for Norwich, after 117 landed on the Academic All-Conference Team last year and 114 the year prior. This season marks the third-straight year where over 100 Cadets received Academic All-Conference Team accolades since 98 earned the distinction in 2021-22.
Representatives hailed from all 15 GNAC sports offered at Norwich. Baseball led the way for Norwich with 17 members on the 2023-24 list, while women's lacrosse saw 14 players honored, the highest among women's programs. There are 128 overall recipients, with three multi-sport athletes receiving honors.
Norwich's 125 recipients ranks third among GNAC schools, trailing Lasell University's 139 and Saint Joseph's College of Maine's 132 honorees.
To be eligible for the Academic All-Conference Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and be at least a sophomore.
