BG William F. McCollough, VSM, Commandant and Vice President for Student Affairs, Norwich Class of 1991, has announced that Cadet First Sergeant Matthew S. Ober '26 will serve as the Regimental Commander for the academic year 2025-26. This position is the highest rank among cadets in the Corps.

C/CSM Thoren Berg ’25 has been selected by the Association of Military Colleges & Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) as the recipient of the Leadership Award and a $1,000 scholarship. A combination of his character and service alongside his academic and athletic performances led to this honor.

Vice Adm. John Gumbleton participated in several outreach events at his alma mater, ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° Sept. 18. Commander, Task Force 80 and Deputy Commander, U.S. FleeT Forces Command, Gumbleton conducted executive engagement with the President of ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ°, met with the Peace and War Center, and Navy Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NROTC) students.

During the recent National Meeting in San Diego, California, the University’s club earned the honor and is now poised to lead 145 Silver Wings Clubs from the various Air Force ROTC detachments across the country.

Out of 80 participating teams, the ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° Alpha Team placed first in the Team ROTC Heavy Division and third overall with a time of 5:14 hr.

She is one of only four Air Force and Space Force (AFROTC) cadets from the 145 detachments across the country selected to attend the 2024 Women’s Air and Space Symposium.
