The 2023 Convocation Ceremony was held the afternoon of August 29. The Class of 2027 and attendees of this year's ceremony were greeted with a special message from President Mark C. Anarumo, Provost and Dean of Faculty Karen Gaines, and Commandant William F. McCollough.

The annual New Student Oath Ceremony for the incoming class of civilians and rooks was held on Sunday, August 27.

President Anarumo and members of his staff joined the Corps of Cadets on Sunday morning in this annual right of passage which marks the end of Rook Orientation Week. ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ°'s office of communications has curated this collection of select images from the event.

The historic Barre Municipal Auditorium has long been a community hub in the city of Barre. Designed by Ruth Freeman, the first female architect in the state of Vermont, it opened its doors in 1939. It has played a variety of roles since then, hosting trade and farm shows, town fairs, concerts, municipal voting polls and state basketball championships. Lately, though, it has been somewhat of a second classroom for Norwich architecture, engineering, and construction management students.

ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° announced today that it will host its second annual Amazon Web Services (AWS) Business Case Competition. The event, which is presented by the ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° School of Business, will take place on March 30, 2023, where teams of Norwich students will compete and present their work to a panel of judges featuring representatives from AWS

ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° was awarded a two-year $5M grant from the National Center of Academic Excellence – Cybersecurity (NCAE-C), housed in the National Security Agency.

ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° will receive $4 million in federal funding to create an artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and quantum computing academic and experiential learning center.
