Archives and Special Collections

The University Archives supports ÂÜÀò¼Ò԰’s educational and administrative goals by preserving, contextualizing and providing access to the essential documentary evidence of the culture, community, and history of the university.

Four cadets in military uniforms study together at a library table with laptops, papers, and reference books.

The University Archives collections include:

  • Official records of offices, departments and committees documenting the development and growth of ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ°.
  • Letters, diaries, photographs, manuscripts, and scrapbooks telling the personal stories of Norwich alumni before and after graduation.
  • Norwich publications, including yearbooks and student and alumni newspapers.
  • Student papers and theses deposited in the archives and retained as permanent records.
  • As Special Collections, we also house the Kreitzberg Library's collection of rare books, primarily relating to military history.
