The powerhouse design team consists of Construction Management majors Jason Stapleford and John O’Neil, Civil Engineering majors Will Sabo and Wyatt Beatini, as well as advisors Dr. Moses Tefe of the ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° David Crawford School of Engineering and Seth Knihtila ’12.
Recently, retired Major General Bruce K. Scott, USA, who is the President and CEO of The Olmsted Foundation, sent a noteworthy email to ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° Acting President Dr. Karen Gaines.
Various teams from ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° participated in a rigorous competition, ultimately presenting their Business Challenge Case to an elite panel of judges of ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° Board of Fellows and Alumni.
During the recent National Meeting in San Diego, California, the University’s club earned the honor and is now poised to lead 145 Silver Wings Clubs from the various Air Force ROTC detachments across the country.
Soykan is a ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and retired Commander with the U.S. Navy Reserve.
Out of 80 participating teams, the ÂÜÀò¼ÒÔ° Alpha Team placed first in the Team ROTC Heavy Division and third overall with a time of 5:14 hr.
